The Company

Internet Teaching Systems develops learning management systems (LMS) which enable K-12 teachers to implement online learning strategies that add the dimension of blended learning to traditional classroom environments. The company's research and development efforts focus on assisting teachers engaged in one-to-one computing to use discovery based learning to help their students meet core curriculum standards. The company's founder and CEO is Spencer Barnard, a lifelong educator with experience as a classroom teacher, school principal, district superintendent, publisher of K-12 learning software, and graduate level education professor. In this latter capacity Mr. Barnard guided the development of an innovative master's degree program designed to help K-12 teachers differentiate instruction and improve students' reasoning skills through the use of online learning technologies.
